It's normal for a lot of scripted things. Mostly gear. And Wyrom rolled out a fix to a lot of these within the past month or so. I guess he didn't get them all, and doubt he could with so many scripts in the database.

They do, unless the spot you hit removes the area from being hit again. Will then default to chest.
