After reading the DMC challenge page(http://www.krakiipedia.org/wiki/Droughtman%27s_Challenge) on krakii, I'm still a little bit confused..

So, its basically a race between 9 people in a maze to see who can find a key and a door, and there are multiple races?

So, how does that work out? First come, first serve? Are there level restrictions? I know that it said that as long as you're level 3, you can join... But if you're level 3 vs a level 100 "blocker?" it doesn't seem very fair.

Just wondering if the event is worth buying a ticket for, or if it would be a waste of time because of the huge disadvantage.

First come, first serve at ticket purchase, yes. Once you have a ticket for a time slot, you are set for that slot.

Blockers generally kill anyone, since you only get 0x junk and are limited on spells you can have up, lower level is actually better because you die faster instead of being stunned and having to wait on multiple hits.

Hm. So one ticket = one run?

How do you determine who get what prize? How do you win the grand prize?

So, even a capped person would have trouble with a blocker?

Just wondering if I would have a severe disadvantage because I am so low level.

Yes, one ticket is one run. If you win your run you get another free run(the finals).

There is a random pile you draw out, with the winner usually getting something extra and a free run in the finals. Grand prize is determined by the winner of the finals run.

It can be more of a time sink for capped. Especially when redux and such is involved. There will occasionally be lower level blockers that can't touch the capped runners, of course.. But everyone, runner and blockers, gets a wand that freezes who you wave it at.

So, is it one ticket one run or one ticket per person/account?

Are the prizes generally worth it? Even if you don't win a race?

All in all, its basically a maze race against other players?

The Box Office will be set up with multiple dates/times. You select the date/time and buy a ticket. It will be tied to your account, but you can use any character on that account you want. If it is a small series of runs(Like one set of ten), they usually only allow you to purchase one ticket per account.

As far as prizes, they often list the prizes in the pile. Make your own judgement. Everyone, including the winner, will draw from that random prize pile. Remember, you could pull out something awesome, or you could pull out a dead cat that does nothing.

You are mostly playing against the maze and trying to get to the end before other players. Think of the blockers as just another maze trap.

The wand is OP, so use it wisely.

Has anyone with a rapture cloak gone to DMC before? If so, how'd that work out? Seems like you could really break something that way.

Do you guys think it will be sold out within minutes or will it take a few days?

I have work that night, and wondering if I should try to buy the tickets on my phone.

If it makes it to minutes, I'll be surprised. Seconds is more likely.

Good prizes on this one then?

Well, it will be limited to one ticket per account likely. I don't think this is as big of a draw as RTCF for some people. But yeah, it may last a minute.
