View Full Version : Oddity with lich

I recently purchased a new laptop and it's having a problem. This might best be explained by a graphical example, which I have attached.

I am running Win 7 pro. I have uninstalled lich to verify that it is the problem. It seems to be, as I did not have a single incident during a two hour test. I also read a post on the officials from someone with the same issue (she called it "stuttering"). She is running Win 8.

As you can see by the image "double", my game window appears to receive information twice. However, if you manipulate it, the double information disappears, as seen in "notdouble".

My previous laptop running Win 7 Pro didn't do this. And, it's a closely comparable laptop (Thinkpad Edge, with this one actually having better memory, etc.)

Does anyone have any thoughts as to how to begin to clear this up?

Thanks!

EDIT: Or perhaps you can't see it, as the attachment is too small. I don't use these forums often, is there a better way to supply an image?

I have had the same problem for awhile now. I'm using Win 7 Home if that makes a difference.

If you attach images in the forums, they get compressed and resized like that. Maybe it's just a default user setting which can be changed, maybe not. You could upload in some kind of archive format or use some free image hosting website.
