I've been messing with my cleric and testing imbedibles. Turns out that I cannot imbed normal wearable imbedibles. So, I think a holy item means that it can receive 325. So, if it's holy, I'd deplete the charges, grot it, and try to imbed something better in it, like 307, and then have a MR non-crumbly 307...

Or you can offer up the necklace... for science...

325 only works with gems. Also, if you grot a normal treasure found mage rechargable in the hopes of putting a better spell in it than the one you found in it, it will remove the rechrgability.
