Its a good thing I read the GS4 forums concerning critters spelling themselves up. Else this would've confused me:
You channel at a bog spectre.
CS: +XXX - TD: +XXX + CvA: +20 + d100: +81 == +XXX
Warding failed!
A masterful strike.
You hear a sound like a weeping child as a white glow separates itself from the bog spectre's body as it rises, disappearing into the heavens.
A heavy mist pours from the bog spectre as it slumps to the ground.
The deep blue glow leaves a bog spectre.
The light blue glow leaves a bog spectre.
The powerful look leaves a bog spectre.
The bright luminescence fades from around a bog spectre.
The silvery luminescence fades from around a bog spectre.
The bog spectre appears a bit less vulnerable.

Why do you always block out your CS, etc?

Noticed that on critters on Teras, too.

Of course the implementation broke the RT code portion of Song of Tonis (1035). Fucking figures.

sheesh
I thought the idea was that they would spawn without spells? Seems like they spawn nearly fully spelled up.

Some do, some don't.
Fire mages are spelled up the Wazoo now. But that doesn't matter when you're a wtrick feint master ;)
Haste song was broken yesterday too.
