The 3rd Annual Festival of Frost, hosted by the halfling Tolby, has returned to Wehnimer's Landing! You can access the winter grounds via the candle-lit path just east of the Furrier! The festival will be open until shortly after the New Year, but there will be no merchant activity. But the grounds are open to all, so feel free to enjoy everything it has to offer, or host your own events within!

This year, there are a few new additions to the festival grounds! Slush Hill has been added, which will allow you to build snowmen! In addition, there are three carnival games available, called Snowflake Stable, Arctic Clash, and Catch a Cold Cod!

Here is a breakdown of what's available for your pleasure! So enjoy it!

Solstice Tree:

At the entrance of the grounds, is a solstice tree! Feel free to grab an ornament, or two, or three, and find out what is inside!

Ice Skating:

There is an ice skating arena, with a cart right outside of it that sells ice skates of various styles! When you're in the arena, if you're skating along, feel free to BOUNCE, FALL, BOW, JUMP, TURN, STRETCH, FLY, or PACE! If you're skating and joined to someone, feel free to PUSH, HUG, KISS, PULL, NUDGE, POKE and SPIN them!

Bonfire:

Like the snow, but not the cold? There's a giant bonfire and log seating with your name on it!

Snowball Fights:

Look for the snowy field with a mound of snow and enjoy an good ole snowball fight! No defensive spells needed!

Slush Hill:

Go check out the new Slush Hill, where you and your friends can BUILD a SNOWMAN! You can make animals, monsters, races, or birds! Of course, you can only make one snowman at a time, and it takes one hour to melt before you can do it again. Once your project is finished, feel free to LEAN on it or TOUCH it!

Warm Treats:

There is plenty of warm drinks and treats available inside a tent on the grounds. Free of charge!

Warm Clothing:

There is warm clothing available inside of a shop on the grounds, so bring some silvers and keep yourself covered!

Snowflake Stable:

For 2,500 silvers you can grab a floating paper snowflake out of a gnomish booth! What prize will you get in exchange?

Arctic Clash:

For 2,500 silvers you can dig through a snow-covered battlefield, finding old items from wars long gone! What prize will you get in exchange?

Catch a Cold Cod:

For 2,500 silvers you can break a spot on the frozen pond and try to snatch a colorful fish! What prize will you get in exchange?

I'd like to give huge credit to GM Aiza for coding the new snowman building feature, which is awesome, and also to GM's Vanah and Tamuz for their supreme QC skills, and making the snowmen and mini-games possible!

Me:
>>I don't mean to be the materialistic weasel of this bunch, but what caliber of prizes are we talking about for the mini-games

It's definitely not what you'd find at a ticket event, like Ebon Gate, etc. The better feeders are full of some simple, scripted items, fun props, etc. There's also a lot of toys in the lower feeders, since well...given the theme and all. The highest feeder is full of limited edition siege miniatures crafted by Walward, and that's it.

If I add more over the course of the next two months, I'll let you all know.

a muscular arctic titan miniature
The arctic titan miniature is tall with thick arms and legs. Its muscular body is deep blue and covered in white snowcat pelt armor. Strands of pale, snow white hair hangs down over a pair of glowing icy blue eyes.

I pulled that out a little while ago.
