I'm looking to getting back into playing my dwarven warrior after having put him on the shelf for a long time. I have a fixskills available and am looking for some feedback on what I should think about tweaking.

I'm not sure if I should lower PF in favor of more dodge, or if I'm off anywhere. I have 271 mental TP to work with, and could leave everything as is and up Ambush to 1x.
Just looking for suggestions that will put him on a good plan.
Thanks

I usually say to go with 2x PF and 3x armor until you get to fullplate then work dodge up to 2x. I'd also suggest you get 25-30 ranks of ambush. Probably want to cutback on MoC to just 30 ranks and 1x it. Also 30 ranks of shield use at 1x and get 5 ranks of shield bash to defend against it.

Ok, so based on your advice, I should be trying to get to a plan that follows:
2x PF
2x Dodge
2x THW
1x MoC
2x CM
3x Armor until 140 ranks, then drop or lower
1x Shield until 30 ranks, 5 ranks Shield Bash
30 ranks Ambush (when able)
Harness Power as able, character is GoS
Climb Swim as able
I'd like to keep perception at 1x
That sound about right?
Any specific CMAN abilities I should be looking at?
Currently at:
Skill name Mnemonic Ranks
Specialization I wspec1 3
Weapon Bonding bonding 4
Surge of Strength surge 1
Parry Mastery pmastery 2
Available Combat Maneuver Training Points: 4
For guild skills I should be working on mastering berserk first correct?
You are an inactive member of the Warrior Guild.
You currently have 70 ranks out of a possible 78 for your training.
The following information will be restored if you rejoin your previous guild:
You have 1 rank in the Disarm Weapon skill.
You need 100 training points to earn your next rank.
The Training Administrator told you to let a partner disarm a twohanded weapon from you.
You have 13 repetitions remaining to complete this task.
You have 54 ranks in the Berserk skill.
You need 107 training points to earn your next rank.
The Training Administrator told you to practice breaking stuns in the Dark Chamber.
You have 21 repetitions remaining to complete this task.
You have 11 ranks in the Warrior Tricks skill.
You need 45 training points to earn your next rank.
The Training Administrator told you to polish the armor around the guild.
You have 8 repetitions remaining to complete this task.
You have 1 rank in the Tackle skill.
You need 135 training points to earn your next rank.
The Training Administrator told you to practice tackling a partner.
You have 12 repetitions remaining to complete this task.
You have 1 rank in the War Cries skill.
You need 88 training points to earn your next rank.
The Training Administrator told you to rake the guild yard.
You have 5 repetitions remaining to complete this task.
You have 8 ranks in the Batter Barriers skill.
You need 100 training points to earn your next rank.
The Training Administrator told you to go break down some old crates to earn the guild some money.
You will need to do 80 hit points of damage for each repetition.
You have 7 repetitions remaining to complete this task.

1x dodge, you want 2x eventually, but you want to work on that after you have everything else. Being in GoS you probably want to be 1x in HP or close to until you have 40-50 ranks, most people I know in it aim to have 120-150 mana. I know sigils can eat up a lot of mana so you want to work on that until you are comfortable with what you have.
For combat maneuvers, I'd say 3 ranks wspec, 5 ranks bonding, 2 ranks mobility to start with. After that you are going to want focus and cdef.

this training plan sounds familiar :)
Agreed on:
2x CM
2x THW
2x Dodge
3x Armor (to 140, then cut back to 2x or stop until cap)
2x PF (extra points go here)
25 ranks ambush (you may want to eventually go up to ~40. Diminishing returns kick in hard between 30 and 40)
1x MOC (there is no benefit to intermediate levels of training. look at the tiers on krakiipedia. if you really want to min-max, you can jump between tiers, 5 ranks at a time)
50 swim/climb by ~60 (will be enough to swim the rift, climb into minos, swim into nelemar)
25 ranks HP (you can get by fine with 25, but you'll eventually want 40+)
1x perception (just do it :) )
I would hold off on until later:
30 ranks shield use (for bash protection, you won't have much problem with bash unless you're in RR or warcamps, but even then you might not notice)
don't go over 1x MOC until cap
you'll eventually want more swimming for nelemar, and more climbing for getting out of the rift loaded down/hurt
CMANs!!
1. mobility 1
2. spec 3
3. bonding 5
4. mobility 2
5. cdef 5
6. focus
mix in tougness if you're a tiny, surge for AS and making climbs and stuff, and martial stances and their prereq's as you want to!

If it isn't broke, don't fix it!
30 ranks shield use (for bash protection, you won't have much problem with bash unless you're in RR or warcamps, but even then you might not notice)
It is also useful for bandits, although if one feels they are tight on points, 20 ranks is almost as good as 30. However, it is a very cheap skill for warriors to train in which is why I suggest doing it.
