Not so crazy. You can't put Ithzir on fusion. A lot of full plate users prefer Ithzir flares to fusion.

Unless you're a rogue, what full plate wearer wants to be pulled away from the fight? I think you over estimate the desire for and availability of Ithzir flares.

Availability blows, and there are ups and downs to them. On the blowing note, so does the market.

I know a few warriors who don't have fusion, but have ithzir flares. Not every situation of getting proned means you want to stay in the room. In scatter, better safe than sorry. That goes for warriors rogue and paladins alike.
