I hate my team.

Doh! I was a little nervous about taking Miami with the o-line change this week. I think they've done well against the Bengals lately, though, and being at home in a game that they almost had to win I figured would give them an edge (I didn't know about, nor do I buy into, silly stats like them being 5-0 on Halloween, but they're interesting I guess). I was worried after that 92yd pick and sure enough the defense started to slow down, but they managed to stay in it.

Preliminary results:
Willington(21), Anebriated(48), Neimanz1(50), all with 9 wins. Everyone picked Green Bay to win, so it's a tiebreaker week.

Just a FYI, it's now November, my work schedule has me probably working double shifts (and of course, they start 12 hours apart) about 3 days a week. That said, I might just start posting the next week's initial post on Saturday or Sunday. Also, if I'm delayed on posting final results, I'm sorry... it's because the double shifts will quickly put me into walking zombie mode IRL...

Annebriated was 1 over the actual score... and we know this is Price is Right rules.

I think that's such a dumb rule. Annebriated was 1 point from the actual score prediction while Willington was 26. Clearly Annebriated was closer.

I know it's too late this season, but we should really look at that for next year. It makes no sense. This isn't the Price is Right.

Gibreficul
11-05-2013, 09:49 AM
I'm pretty sure we stated that rule at the start of the season, and all seasons prior.. That's why some people default their tiebreaker to 2 points every week, the equivalent of the one dollar bid. Having something like that established as rule avoids confusion. Say for this week's game, someone had 46, and someone had 48, and the score was 47... who wins? Maybe for next year... we'll do a 1::1 comparison for tiebreakers under the score, and a 2::1 comparison for tiebreakers over the score....

Meh I dont really care. This was like the second time I managed to fill out a full card all season. Rule is kinda dumb but whatever, go ahead and leave that asterisk up there by willington's name...

I'm kinda cross-posting from week 8, but I made the overall results output prettier. Sorted by total wins, win %, and total games. And I'm not going to remove that comment next to Willington for this week. :) I copy and paste that shit from the previous week's post.
