View Full Version : I got written up

So I was playing beer pong last night in the dorm and all of a sudden 30 people came in. All throughout the night they were walking in and out, in and out... finally, we just said, "If you step out, you stay out."

It was too late though, the RA on duty came in and busted us all

He told us to dump all the beer in the sink, but when I took it in the bathroom I decided I'd rather not waste my money and would be better off emptying it in my stomach instead. (Ever try drinking a full six-pack within 2 minutes? wow... that was an experience)

So after the RA left I went to another room and took shots

Anyway, now I have to talk to the head hancho lady of the school, pay a $35 fine and take a 4 hour online alcoholic awareness class. :(

Course it doesn't. However it did mean while at college we could party all day and not get busted.

Man I had to rewrite this post like five times because each time I sounded more and more like a bitch. I need a vacation.

Sorry to hear that, Percocet. I had a few friends who lived on campus last year and ended up getting busted. Thankfully, I've never had to put up with the bullshit that comes with living on campus.

They just made my dorm non-smoking so stop bitching. Smoking anything will entail a write-up, possible expulsion, and from what I hear, an ass-whooping from my old RA.

Also, I've been busted for posession of alcahol as a minor.. I got off because the cop was nice, but I lost all priviledges to everything when he dropped me off at home. I am aware as to how much stuff sucks sometimes.

I would have done the same thing. When you drink on grounds, you do it knowing that it's not allowed. If I caught someone drinking the beer instead of emptying it out, I'd hit them with a Non-Compliance VSOC (Violation of Standards of Conduct) as well as with one for possession.

You fit 30+ people in a suite? And chugged 6 beers in 2 minutes? This story reeks of bullshit.

EDIT: Yes, I am an RA.

First, Edaarin, I think you should check yourself, because I don't smell anything here. There only shit you'll be smelling is probably what you stepped in on the way in the door.

I'm not gonna lie, the suite was cramped. But there was still enough room for people to maneuver their way around.

Second, Chaadj, I'm not a hypocrite. A guy sympathized, I thanked him. It's like I said, I'm not looking for pity, I'm only trying to socialize by bringing a recent event in my life up as the topic. Have you not read that I was talking with peam about dorms and whatnot? That's called socializing.

Third, Stan, I'm not bitching. I'm actually relatively cool with the whole matter. Yah, I got written up and I'll take the blame willingly because I know it's against campus policies to have done what I did. However, it's like I said, I'm peeved at the amount of people that kept coming in and out. I've been drinking on campus like this for the past year, I should have known better to kick them all out in the first place (or as some as you tight asses might say, "Oh, if you had known better you wouldn't have drank in the first place" ... take the stick out of your fucking ass and go have some fun). Also, there are designated areas for smoking on campus here. Consider yourself lucky you had the privilege of smoking dorm in your life. I never had.

It was stupid, but hey, I had fun overall.

You come off as either (1) full of shit or (2) a complete waste of life who kills his parents' money as an Art History or Jazz major.

Here's why.

Your handle. You get ripped off of a narcotic, good for you.

Slamming 6 beers in 2 minutes would also net you a BAC of about 0.145 if you're 180 lbs. Then you went to take shots, huh. Right.

I have residents that act like they're the shit. I can't wait for them to say the wrong thing to the wrong person and walk home missing some teeth. Lose the fucking attitude or you're going to get eaten alive.

You need some attitude re-adjustment, Edaarin.

First and foremost, I'm a computer science major and an english minor. Last I checked my GPA was around 3.40.

Second, I pay for college, not my parents.

Yes, I did everything I said I did. I drank an assload of beer, then I took shots. Yah, I've got a hazey period in my memory from about 3am to 6am, but do I care? Not at all. Is it good for my body? No fucking way in hell. I was having fun at least up to that 3am check off point, that I know for sure. I can only assume I had fun afterwards.

I'm away from the shackles of the parental home and I'm young. I know my responsibilities and I'm going to have fun when I have a day off.

FUCK YOU and your know all pissy attitude which you think gives you the right to judge my character and who I am. I do what I do because I enjoy doing it.

Just because you can't do it and just because you don't like it doesn't mean I can't and I don't as well.

My handle is named after Percocet because I like percocet. I stopped my pill-popping and marijuana smoking and cigarette smoking because I wasn't enjoying it as much as I used to. I take it now for my migraines and only that, because lemme tell ya how much those headaches hurt!

Lastly, if I were to mouth off to someone it'd be for a reason and would definitely be because they deserve it (like you, right now). I'd welcome them to take a swing at me, I'd like to know how long they'd last against someone with four years of Taekwondo and Jujitsu under their belt.

Piss off Edaarin, people like you ruin the world.

I lucked out my first two years. Stoner RAs are the best.

6 beers in 2 minutes is much, but if you're already shit faced you won't notice the three you wear in the attempt.

During my not so innocent years I was able to down 5 12 oz cups in under 2 minutes with no spillage, of course my ability to retain 60 oz of keg fluid was very inferior to my ability to drink it.

The dorm I got stuck with was the known as the Hall of Terrors. Plenty of write ups were handed out but the key to avoiding write ups is to not be caught at the scene.

That really sucks dude. I got a drinking ticket one time at school and I had to go to a alcohol abuse class and write a 5 page paper on the dangers of drinking :jerkit:

On RAs... The girl who ran our floor was scared to death of me and my roomate when a mutual lady friend of ours almost kicked the shit out of her for walking into our room and not knocking. After that she didn't come around almost at all, and when she did, she deffinitly knocked first.

Yeah. Any art major has fucking rediculously long classes. That is because studio courses are usually 3 hours long. You can't expect to get much done in a photo class with the typical 1hr 15min classes. I mean hell, it takes that long just to set up and take down chemistry. Same goes for setting up easels, paints, oxygen tanks, measuring, (for you sculpture majors).

I share a suit with five other girls and we could easily fit around 15 people in our common area and then some in the bedrooms. And it sucks you got busted, I normally gave my residents a warning first when I was an RA, but then I realized residential life was controlled by the devil and quit. But I totally feel for ya. Can you just not have any alcohol at all on campus? I had to get my own mini fridge for my room to keep my stash in because their are girls in the suite who aren't 21 so it can't be taken out of my room! Crie.

It's harder to not drink on campus. I'm up in the mountains and, unlike last year where I was in Philly and could walk everywhere, you actually need transportation to get to a friend's apartment or house.

Otherwise, you could go to the beach and drink, but that's just silly to drag a beer pong table out there at night when you can just lounge about on it during the day. Not to mention there isn't that much light out there... and it could be cold... and / or windy...
