View Full Version : Sorcerer lores, training and cost.

How many sorcerers out there train on both Necromancy and Demonology every level? I know lores can be very expensive to double in, or do some of you think it's worth it?
Are some of you able to triple train on spells once in awhile, trainings on magical ranks for runestaff.. and have both necromancy and demonology ranks equal to your level?
And how many of you chose to focus on just one lore? Either demon or Necrom?

I train both. My Sorcerer is basically:
2x Lores
2x Spells
2x Spell Aim
2x Mana Share
1x MIU
1x AS
1x HP
I can also squeeze in a triple in spells every few levels. The only skill from GS3 that I had to give up was Perception and First Aid, and that's not much of a big deal to me.

My sorcerer only trains in Necromancy. That's a 100% RP choice.
Basically, he's
1x Lores
2.5x spells
2x spell aim
2x HP
1x MIU
1x AS
1x MC switching between elemental and spiritual
I use the spare TP's for clim/swim, armor, PT, and perception

My poor sorc is all messed up
I chose necromany over demonoligy because i like to watch the limbs jump around and turn on their former owners
I try to 2x in everything necessary but sometimes there isn't enough points...wait there always isnt enought points...
I'm hoping they will give away another fixskills....just a lil more tweaking and i wil have it!

Don't forget that necromancy also gets you blood from blood burst, which is nice.
Really demonology doesn't do much that I know of other than summon demons, which uhm, aren't that great.

Demonology works with torment and cloak of shadows as well.
Both are awesome spells.

They are both good lores to train in. The ones who want more visible effect and more show will go towards necro lore.
But really no lore outshines the other.
Necro lore spells :
701 (only need one rank for the effect to work, more ranks more blood back, but not signifiant)
708 (arms animate and attack the critter they came from)
711 (replaced first aid)
716 (nothing yet)
730 (nothing yet, but you can use other with high necro lore potions to aid your lack of lore)
Demon lore spells
712 (50 ranks gets it to the 5% chance.)
718 (lowers td boost for having spell prepped, increases damamge, still deadly without lore though)
725 (increases abilites of demons along with ease of summoning them. Also increases time they stay around)
So if you have no tie to demon lore get 50 ranks then go rest necro, it will better spent in the short term
