Hit and miss really... everything after stigmata was pretty rough.

lol at tags. :P
ZEP IS A CAT PEE SMELLER.
Stigmata is good, Rojo wasn't even good in the other thread. So What is epic. It is 11:38 minutes but when Connelly is on the cage, you don't consider that pretty good?
Rallorick! What do you think about Paul Barker?

not really that familiar with his other work outside of that. did he also play in the Revolting Cocks with Jorgenson?
for some reason I thought that was mostly Front 242 behind that.

front 242 - that was a great fucking band.
Barker was the active bassist (at the very least) from the album you cited up until 2003. And was in Revco for that time. Unless you believe Al did everything, he was the other driving force. He was in all the Ministry offshoots
One Front 242 member was in Revco.. Luc Van Acker kind of off and on but credited as a founder
He is famous for this song separately.

I remember a few years back, I was watching this lame old movie - no idea why I was watching it... and this judge was lecturing this girl about stealing a car or something. Suddenly, I recognized it as a sample from the song.
The Ministry name is supposedly based off some B horror movie, and not a religious thing. I've never seen it though.

Very much enjoyed Ministry during the 90's. I've heard everything up to Filth Pig, after that I dropped off and stopped caring. I've been told they have some great things after that era though. Discovered them around the same time as NIN and Manson, probably like '93-'94. Started on Metallica/Megadeth when I was a kid, moved into Pantera and Tool, then into industrial rock. They paved the way for me to get into many other artists I would have probably dismissed before. KMFDM, Chemlab, Skinny Puppy, 242, Haujobb, etc.
I still love NIN... Ministry and Manson occupy about the same place in my heart and playlist, which is to say not much anymore. Still good for a listen on occasion though.
