[LNet]-GSIV:Rozy: "Destreza, Ruh, Eliaku... If I get one more notification that you're fucking with people in game who've WI'd you already... I'm banning you from lnet, since you have been flaunting the fact that the GMs can't do much to you. In Colbert-speak, you are hereby put On Notice."

While it is fucked up that she is trying to use IG shit to ban you from LNet, I'm sure most people would be happy to see you go.

the problem with Ruh is he uses shit on LNET, and takes it into IC.
Like whisper's sent in LNET, totally warrant him to 605 whisper you or send his pet after you...heh

He is also Eliaku. I guess he got tired of having full red rep so he switched to his Ruh PC account. You should wear that red like a badge, hardly anyone has that shit anymore.

Your real name wouldn't happen to be Rich/Richard, would it Ruh?

I generally don't come into such discussions but I don't think there's any point in being judge/jury over individual conflicts.
If people take OOC things into the game, that's a violation of game policy and there's already mechanisms in the game to deal with this. These situations are best handled by GMs. If the person is really a problem, the person will likely be banned eventually. If a conflict is outside of LNet, I don't think the LNet moderators should have the place to police it (you might as well call that taking IG conflicts into LNet). In addition, an LNet moderator doesn't necessarily have enough information to deal with it. GMs do.
If someone is bothering someone else on LNet and they can't handle it, they can use the LNet ignore feature or just use their built-in grown up ignore feature. If they're violating some kind of general channel policy, fine. If, for example, they're spamming an insult to someone, they're spamming and should be handled (it doesn't actually matter that it was an insult).
Whatever the case, moderating person-person conflicts from LNet is a shitty task for the moderator and there's no logic to it. Just abandon the task. It's not good for you (the moderator), it's not good for anyone else, and mechanisms already exist for people to handle the situation themselves. It just spawns these little sessions where people jerk themselves off to this high school drama.

Yeah, this. Being a world class douchebag isn't a crime, but it is counter productive.

The biggest issue I saw with this whole discussions was the fact that Rozy was threatening to ban him for talking shit to people on lnet that had WI'd him in game. When asked numerous times why the first step wasn't to lnet IGNORE him, both Kaedra and I were ignored. If the person being harassed, in this case Dayko, put Ruh/eliaku/dez on ignore, then he would most likely get bored and go away.
I agree with Capn on this, while taking lnet ooc arguments into the game is A-class douchebag move, lnet has better ways of dealing with the reverse. The only person I recall ever being banned from lnet was Inspire and I'd wager he's a bigger douchebag than Ruh.

If someone wants to kill/harass/talk shit to IG and someone doesnt like it, assist & report. Why does it need to be be taken to lnet? Thats a piss poor move of epic douchebaggery proportions. Especially when the parties are equally guilty of being fucking retards.
Take your toys and go home.
