I miss lurid orange.

Anyway, I kinda miss being able to dye gems and have them turned into thought amulets that would save colour.

Basically, there are a shitload of items that could theoretically be dyed, but with an ounce of discretion, should not be.

There are also and have been several events which "gems" were sold at travelling merchants, but did not have the inherent property of one, hence allowing them to be dyed even though they're not supposed to be.
