Cool. I've been a SETI@home user for years. It's a neat idea and I'm glad to be helping out the cause of science. How cool would it be to actually find evidence of extra terrestrial intelligence.

I've always really enjoyed movies like Contact and even the lower rate ones like First Contact with Charlie Sheen, lol.

Here's the web page. Everybody DL the software and start doing it. The backlog of signals from the Aricebo telescope is huge and every signal is analyzed by multiple people to make sure there are no errors in the analysis.

Not terribly surprising. The guys at SaH are pretty good about keeping people up to date on promising signals. Pity though.

I might try that seti@Home thing when I work on my computer and get it running a bit better. It's already a bit slow. It seems to be an interesting way to help though.
