Got a backpack with some random stuff that might be of interested to bards or those who really get into instruments

a modwir piccolo - I found this in my locker
a flawless wood cornett - very nice loresong, will be listed below
a curled folio of music manuscript - RP fluff!
a filigreed gold music stand - MOAR RP fluff!
a leather instrument strap (2) - can be added to certain types of instruments to make them shoulder worn
several carved ivory bands - Looking closely at the carved ivory bands, it appears that it might be a suitable embellishment to a musical instrument of some sort. - apparently you can put it on an instrument to make it look nice.. certain instrument types only, perhaps a cornett?

Loresong:

As you sing to the cornett, your melody evokes various impressions from the wood. The smell of cinnamon rolls drifts past, and the image of the pure ivory disk of Liabo's full face forms briefly before your eyes. Caressed by silvery-white moonlight, you observe a black-eyed dwarven man finishing the last touches on the creation of his wood cornett. The fragile vision dissolves almost as quickly as it came.

Your magical song delves into the nature of the cornett, evoking the image of a pale burghal gnome man. The man is smoking a cigar and wears a handfasting cord. Shadows stretch along the winding trade road as the burghal gnome man barters the wood cornett from the same dwarven man that you observed before. The sound of hissing steam surrounds you as the image fades away.

Harmonies echo from the heart of your cornett, and those harmonies swell around you, guiding you into a vision. You see a storm-lashed sailing vessel, and the burghal gnome man kneels upon the proud ship's deck playing the wood cornett. A throng of cask makers listens, responding to the flirtatiousness evident in the careful music. The vision ends as you finish your verse.

The resonances of the wood cornett flow over you as sensory impressions. You hear someone sorting papers and smell burning cloth before the magic of your loresong draws you into a vision. Palm trees sway with the night wind as the burghal gnome man squats beside a white-haired burghal gnome boy. A distinct family resemblance is obvious in their features. Accelerating music rises from the wood cornett in the boy's hands. When the boy finishes the song, the boy starts to return the cornett to the burghal gnome man, but the burghal gnome man shakes his head and folds the boy's hands firmly around the cornett. The image dissolves away.

You sing to the cornett, but receive only the normal harmonies of wood in return. You sense that sharing the gender of the cornett's creator permitted you to coax more lore from it than someone of the opposite sex could have done. The harmonies fade as you finish your verse.
