Hey all,

Does anyone know what kind of restrictions there are on Splitting Weapons? I had one done at RtCF and they definitely had to remove a fluff script. I'm wondering if it's compatible with other kinds of scripts like creature bane. My guess is that the answer is "no".

Thanks!

Ok? So, are there any splitter weapons in the wild with other scripts on them? And if so, what are some examples?

Bane isn't a script. You should be good if you ever get the chance.

Oh, wow. Bane isn't a script? I didn't know that. Are there any other examples of modifications that might be compatible with splitting? I thought everything that wasn't weighting or flares was a script.

Bane is not a script. It's a new trait that lives completely in its own slot that Tamuz or someone managed to whip up.

Splitting weapons are a good ol fashioned script. They are incompatible with: bubble flares, Iasha white ora, Tsana black ora, Weapon and Armor moods, EZscripts... all scripts.

They are compatible with: general flares, rare flares that still fit into the general slot (grapple), permablesses, weighting.

So, basically, get your permablessed or weighted weapon split. You'll be a happy camper. Or, a high ET blessable weapon you intend to bond your TWC paladin with.
