I lost my first character ever by spirit death. I didn't know about deeds and I was just raised but the stupid empath didn't take my hps.. so I know! SIGN OF HEALING!

I used possession once when I was first starting out. And it was only because I was in a swarm of hobgoblins.

I think they're SUPPOSED to stun things. I've never actually gotten it to work unless the stun is invisible and only lasts for a second.

I used it....not recently but i had before, it acted as either an individual kind of stun, or a group stun as I recall.

Well more like a sleep rather than a stun...as an attack would rouse them.

I used Possession about a month ago walking to the Aenatumgana, passed two people stunned with a crowd of things. It is basically mass calm.

I did the same thing with the original Bobmuhthol. Was level 5, had some 1337 gear and about 100k.

Sign of possession is mass calm, 4 spirit

It doesn't work on players (I'm only saying this because I do not know what 'kal' is) and can not be targeted.

One time I wracked instead of staunching...twice. It was like:

*wrack* WTF I'm still bleeding
*wrack again* *wake up in the temple* WTF??? *cry*

So I would say using the right sign helps too. :rolleyes:

I use hypnosis all the time while I'm hunting. Since I'm an ambusher I go in to a room, sneaking, and if there are 2 or more creatures I'll sign of hypnosis from hiding (since you don't unhide). It's a mass calm. Last a while too.

I just proceed to pick 'em off after that.


And yes bob, Hypnosis is a mass calm, because I type "sign of hyp" not "sign of pos". Don't specify a target.
