a purple-veined black leather backpack

Once per day will reduce encumbrance by 40 lbs. for a duration of 20 minutes (CLENCH).
Weighs 6, Holds 150. Already maxlight/maxdeep.

>anal my backpack
You analyze your black leather backpack and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions.

The creator has also provided the following information:
You sense that the bulging veins lining the straps of your black leather backpack can infuse you with the surge you need to seemingly reduce your encumbrance once per day if you CLENCHed it.
You also sense you could TOUCH, PROD, and RUB it.
You don't think it should be altered at all except for the color of the leather. You think you could probably get the noun changed to "pack" or "knapsack" but not much else.

You can tell that the backpack is as light as it can get and that its pockets could not possibly get any deeper.

Description:

>look backpack
Supple leather forms the exterior of this backpack. Slightly raised veins rise from the leather toward the top of the dual shoulder straps; the dark reddish purple ridges seem to pulse rhythmically and with fervor. A large enruned bone clasp is placed in the center of the the backpack's flap, securing the backpack by myriad thin crimson tendrils which creep across the flap's edge to secure themselves to the backpack's body.

Non-Functional Scripts, 1st person:

>remove backpack
You slip an arm out of one of your black leather backpack's shoulder straps, then the other, and grasp the backpack in your hand by the straps.

>wear backpack
You slip each arm into the black leather backpack's straps and settle the backpack on your back.

>prod backpack
You prod your backpack. In response, the veins along the shoulders of the backpack pulse against you in return.

>rub backpack
Shifting the backpack on your shoulders, your hand brushes the veins entwined along the shoulder straps. The softness is odd against the material of the backpack.

>open backpack
As your fingers touch the flap of your black leather backpack, the crimson tendrils that held it fast to the backpack's body free themselves and recoil back toward the enruned bone clasp. You open a purple-veined black leather backpack.

>close backpack
As you lower the flap of your black leather backpack, dark crimson tendrils creep out from within the the backpack's enruned bone clasp, coil over the flap's edge, and latch themselves firmly to the leather body of the backpack.

You reach out and touch your black leather backpack.

>clench backpack
