Hi all,

I may find myself in a position to bring a set of max light 7X plate to RtCF this weekend. I'm a TWC user, and I find that with my current very DCP plate, crits are almost never a problem. I do, however, get dinged an awful lot. So, I think I'd like to put flares on it. I was initially thinking I should go for grapple flares in the hopes that I'd get more prone enemies, but I thought I'd ask some of you what your preferences are and why.

Thanks!

Keep it plain and get temp HDP from the AG. That's my recommendation.

Warriors get hit all the time, AG padding would last what a day or two?

With the decreased value of AG points due to the Simucoin offerings, it's not a bad alternative.

Why do you suggest HDP?

The reason I wanted flares is because the only way I seem to get killed is from a special maneuver, like Illoke stone fist, or something like implosion. I do, however, get hit for ~5 damage at least a handful of times each hunt. With sigil of mending up, though, it seems like I'm nearly always at full health. I know the armor flares won't make a HUGE difference, but it seems like it would occasionally help me out.
