Hi. I realize that the latest fashion for young women/girls is to wear the low-slung jeans and let a little stomach show.
But let me give you a little hint, even if you are a size THREE, and you are able to squeeze into a size one, this does not make you appear any skinnier. In fact, it leaves this horrible view of what I like to call "flesh ooze" over the tops of your pants.
Very unsightly.
This goes double for girls like myself, that would kill to just be a size three, but are not. Do not, repeat, DO NOT, wriggle into a pair of jeans simply because the tag is two sizes smaller than your actual size. If you are going to wear pants down around your hips, get pants a few sizes larger to help reduce the image of "flesh ooze" and actually make you look skinnier.
If I have to see one more girl walking around campus with hip/back/stomach flesh ooze I may have to gouge my eyes out.

Totally agree.
I've seen way too many chicks with their tummies hanging over the waistline of their jeans.
And in my city, I'd say the majority of the girls that do this don't realize that they are a size 13 and trying to squeeze into a size 9. It's a little unsightly.

Thank god I go to school in the South where girls are tall, thin, blonde, and so concerned about staying that way they wear out the enamel on their teeth after every meal.

I agree... girls who dress like that don't even realize how disgusting they look with various fleshy parts of their body hanging out. Ughh. It's even worse when you know the girl is putting her body into all types of ungodly positions just to get into that size 9 or 10 when she's actually a solid 12.

This is probably not exactly the expression, but the message it conveys is what counts.
Gahhh, it's like that at my school too. I've been wearing skirts though, so I'm not guilty of it myself. :D

Even worse, they wear itty bitty tank tops with the too-small jeans. Tank tops tight enough that you can count every fold on their body. Could hide a silver dollar in those things, ugh.

I went from a size 9/10 to a size 5 from being sick all those months. I can wear whatever the hell I want to now. In fact, I just bought this little black top at Old Navy that's a small. w00t
PS. I still wont wear hoochie clothes though, I like to look nice, not like a hooker. :P

I am probably the only guy my age who thinks this way (my friends think I'm crazy), but I find I'm more attracted to conservatively dressed woman. If you've got your ass and tits hanging out, what is left up to my imagination? I already know how you're going to look naked, so there is no surprise left and little reason for me to pursue. On the other hand, a girl with a great body who covers it up leaves much to the imagination, and makes me want her that much more.

I can relate. I just recently went shopping and can officially wear size 4 comfortably, however, I couldn't even fathom wearing something which would cause any parts of my body to hang out. Classy beats out slutty any day and night of the week.

Probably not*, but they shouldn't be obese either. At least I have the courtesy to wear clothes that aren't skin tight. I know nobody wants to see how thin I am, so fat people should stop showing me how fat they are.

She's actually a hottie, but her mom won't allow her to wear all that revealing shit, nor would I. When she hits 18, we could care less (sorta). But, she's only 15, I'd tag that ass if I saw her wear something that shows her cleavage to school.
I use to wear my pajama pants to my classes at college, lolz. That's how lazy I use to be to get ready for my classes. I wish I had the energy to dress up during HS and college.

Its great you're a size 5 Dianna (mutter something that sounds like "luckybitch") all I'm saying is don't end up wearing size 3 pants so you don't end up with a classic example of what Wezas posted: flesh ooze.
Honestly with like a 70/30 ratio here a little flesh ooze has become acceptable.

Actually, all I meant by my post was that since I'm finally small enough I can actually wear that shit now. When I weighed more I knew not to wear that kind of clothes. I wil say though, I still dont get all hooched out, it's just too tacky. I'll wear my low-rise jeans, but the back is always covered up by some kind of shirt, even when I bend over. No one likes a plumbers crack, even on a young female.
Don't you have to actually be a young female for that to be a valid post about yourself Diana?

It's all good that you're looking out for her... but you were that age once, try to remember how it felt. You shouldn't restrict her, let her be herself, step in when necessary.

lol! this thread cracks me up, cos I see so many girls with their flaps hanging. And to answer someone's response about my neice. I wore baggy clothes to school, for one, cos I was too lazy to dress up for school and I'd just bring clothes to change for practice for softball, basketball or stomp practice. Other than that, I never cared for trying to look pretty or impress people during HS. I actually shop with my neice, so I know she doesn't wear revealing stuff to school. She's not into that "showing much skin" look. If she did, it would be an issue with her mom and everyone else. She's allowed to think for herself, just as long as it's not on the slutty side, ha!
