What's that you say? You want something new? Okay.

How about:
You offer your elegant vultite handaxe to Iamal.
...
Iamal offers you a superior vultite handaxe.

Or maybe:
You offer your superior rolaren mace to Iamal.
...
Iamal offers you a perfect rolaren mace.

I have ~50 pounds of eonake in two heavy slabs that has been gathering dust in my locker. In light of the weapon upgrade service that will be available at EG this year I've decided its time to put it to good use. For the month of September (only) I will be selling Eonake at 400k silver per pound. With your purchase I will either have my dwarven warrior forge it into the weapon of your choice or I can simply hand you the raw slab of the appropriate weight for you to forge your own weapon. If I forge it I will combine it with the appropriate perfectly forged wooden haft/handle for the best possible resulting weapon.

My dwarven warrior has mastered all of the following forging skills (basically everything except pole weapons)
>artisan skill
In the skill of forging - crafting, you are a master with 500 ranks.
In the skill of forging - one handed edged, you are a master with 500 ranks.
In the skill of forging - one handed blunt, you are a master with 500 ranks.
In the skill of forging - two handed weapons, you are a master with 500 ranks.
In the skill of forging - brawling weapons, you are a master with 500 ranks.

Whatever I have left at the start of October I will use to craft my own weapons.

....I am not trying to brag, I am genuinely curious. Is this upgrading-your-weapon bit a new thing? Because I JUST posted on the forums a month ago about this, and now you're telling me it's at EG? This is amazing. Or I knew nothing, and posted an idea that's already been instituted.

It's the first time I recall it being offered. No idea which came first though! Chicken or Egg?

400k per lb? I think ya might have mis-fingered an extra zero on it... Most I've ever seen a full slab go for was 2.5 mil.

At 400k per lb you are looking at 10 mil each slab.

Just wonder what the cost is going to be and how it is going to impact the forging market?

it won't really mess with it at all, it'll make rare slabs valuable again I think.. makes your chances of making that perfect rolaren, eonake, golvern you've been trying to make for ages all that much better... with a full 25lb slab Id almost guarantee you could make a superior out of it... and then make that perfect at EG.

If it gives you any perspective, I just bought a golvern slab the moment I heard about the service because now I can attempt at making a perfect golvern handaxe or battle axe.. or something I dunno yet.. so go dig up your cool slabs from your lockers and/or take this guy up on his eonake deal, perfect eonake morning stars need to exist in GS, someone make it happen.
