Hope the discounts were good, because it looks like that system costs about $1500 from Dell without them.

Did you check Best Buy? I see one at BestBuy.com that has a widescreen, 60gb HD, and 128mb video for $250 less then that one.

True, but the higher end Vaio's aren't very affordable. You can pick up a nice 2.8ghz or so for about $1500 though.

and no they arent very small 15in screen/512mb/2.8 p4/radeon graphics/dvd-rw/and goes well with my sony camera and desktop, memory sticks rock.
