View Full Version : Bottomless Quiver - 4x Random Flaring/Blessed
Kitsun

Taking offers on a bottomless quiver. Creates 4x arrows. Random flares or blessed.
Either it goes into the void with me or goes to a new home. If I don't respond to the offer, it wasn't enough. Not going to bother answering lowball offers or haggling attempts.
Cash only.

Is Solomon giving you a chance to liquidate your 16 RtCF accounts before tossing you into the void?

Flares every hit like oldschool merchant arrows, or chance of flaring like a normal e-blade?
BriarFox

Chance to flare, if it's like the one I had, which I believe it is. It has about a 1 in 4 chance to produce a flaring arrow, which will have either a drakar, zorchar, rhimar, or gornar tip randomly. The tipped arrows flare just like e-bladed ones do, if I recall, so not every time. The other arrows will all be blessed, if the arrow in the quiver itself is blessed. Really nice quiver.

Holy shit. Don't often see one of these up for grabs. Killer quiver.

Would that fuck with hunting in Nelemar if you randomly draw a zorchar tipped arrow?

How do these work? Do you drop in 1 blessed arrow then each arrow you draw is blessed and it's unlimited until you empty the quiver and add in a different arrow?

To Whirlin: Yes, but you can set your script to drop undesirable arrows. Very little time is lost with a lich script also.

For those asking for a price point: I turned down an offer of coins at cash equiv of $3750.
My bow is +29 enchanted, 10 points of sighting, disarm-returning scripted wyrwood if you were looking to make a bundled offer.

What Stormcrow said. I sold my similar bottomless quiver for $2k, and that was after I held out for awhile.

Inspire your argument makes zero sense,
The silvers are already out there, he would just be selling some one elses silver and keeping them in the market.
Flooding the market would be some one script hunting skins for a few months and then selling those silvers.

If I were kitsun, I'd hold out for the price he wants. This particular item doesn't often come up for sale and is considered one of the most useful items in the game. Someone will cough up his asking price, or really close to it. Do your thing kitsun.

Inspire won't go away until he is ignored for a while. Stop responding to his posts or threads and he will leave soon enough. Insulting him keeps him coming back for more.

Why I prefer this over master fletched is because of how I would use it. 1 second chain firing of arrows while not worrying about it getting disarmed, like an ebow, and not having to gather up the arrows since the arrows dissolve.

Don't misunderstand, this quiver is badass as all hell, especially when paired with the bow, or comparable Whirlin brand bow.
On the mechanical aspect of weight and encumbrance, a warrior made quiver weighs 1 pound, and can carry stacks of arrows weightlessly, if bundled down to 32 per bundle... which is enough for 1 mob, gathering/etc. Depending on worn location and weight, this may actually be a disadvantage to this quiver.
On the AS side, this quiver CAN negates the need for fletching or e-blading if using an adequate bow. However, we are looking at a game environment where half the available classes: Bards, Warriors, Rogues, Sorcerers, and Wizards all have the ability to unlock e-blade as a spell. With additional e-blading potential coming from alchemical oils (god, I made like, 4 billion of those oils), and scrolls. Given the same flare rate is the same 12.5%, there's no substantial mechanical advantage.
So this quiver breaks down into a convenience item of essentially not being bothered by arrows, which I'll absolutely admit, holds an inherent high value. If there were like, 50 of these quivers, I could see the item having high mobility at a 10m-20m price point for just the utility factor. However, when we factor in the scarceness of such an item, we are looking at something much higher.
And in the end, everyone, trolls included, need to keep in mind that any sale is an agreement of perceived value by both buyer and seller. If Kitsun's perceived value is higher than what the market will pay, it simply won't sell... simple as that. Fortunately, Kitsun is in a position on the supply/demand curve where the supply is extremely limited, comparable items are extremely limited and the next best alternative doesn't offer the same key features that you're paying the premium for, and in the end, only 1 person needs to agree to his perception of value.
