Neanderthal would come up behind said unsuspecting kid and push the books forward causing them to fall to the floor scattering many a loose leaf of paper.

Well.. back in my day, we carried around alot of books from class to class. So imagine you are walking down with 3 notebooks, 3 textbooks and a 2" binder under one arm.

Someone would come up from behind and smack the top of the books in your hand down.. launching them into the air and all over the hallway.

We never did all of that mean stuff in England! The only thing people did was 'peanut' your tie (pull it really tight and half choke you so you couldn't undo it.)

I remember telling my little sister that she would have her head flushed down the toilet when she started high school, to scare her. I also remember some little boy who didnt like my sister wrote our phone number on the toilet wall so, I held his head next to a cement mixer and told him I would put it in and turn it on if it happened again. He was nice to my sis after that!

Freshman roll week is what they called it at our school. The freshmen guys would get beat down wherever they were caught the first week or so of school. It was sad.

When I went to High School the guys used to either sandwich a freshman or give them a pole job.

sandwich: two guys on either side of you hugging as tight as they could. (like on Sweet Home Alabama when they made a Melanie sandwich)

pole job: picking you up and pulling your legs around a pole. One time they used a broomstick and gave a guy a portable pole job. :lol:

During my first week of highschool I got into one of the biggest fights that started off the school year. It was great. It was where I got my reputation as the "tough guy", just because the kid had to go to the hospital after the fight. :?: After that fight I went swimming with my friends.

You know how that fight happened? That fuckin douche-bag had the nerve to drop my book into the dirt. HAHA. It was a macho thing, I know, how lame.

Some kid threw an M-80 at me when I started high school, and then my older brother whos nickname is "Yeti" uppercutted the kids ass into the back of a pickup trunk then jumped in back of it and stomped the fuck outta him until the kid had to be hospitalized for the first week of school, my brother got arrested but it was his first offense so he didn't get any time.

Highschool sucked. Once it dawned on me how STUPID it was to try and keep up this "cool" image infront of my so-called friends it just seemed like a waste to even worry about what everyone there thought. So, I got good grades and got the fuck out.

Unless you've got good self esteem people tend to get chewed up and spit out where I attended. I'm sure it was like that everywhere though.

The funnest thing about HS is that it's easy. It's more difficult to fail a class than it is to get an A... and it's fun to think of ways to outsmart teachers while coming off as a total angel.

And of course, not to sound cheesy or anything, but some of the best friends I have are people I met or got to know in HS.

I loved Highschool. Haven't seen anyone from Highschool, since, except for those that went to the same college as me.

No responsibility, easy courses, sports out the ass (for me it was football or basketball), shop, metal working, and autoshop, plus lots of fun and parties? What wasn't to like?

Hell, the only thing I can think that I don't like about it now was I didn't get more play from the ladies (I was young and didn't know the signs back then!). Bob understands I'm sure.
