Help with errors on a purchased character

I recently acquired a new character through PC but I'm having some trouble getting lnet to function properly for it. It appears the previous account owner has their lnet account password protected, which appears to be saved to the server. I do not know this password, would it be possible to get this character reset on the lnet server?

Additionally when I try to log the character in via stormfront I receive a "Windows error: unable to open the requested log file". I am not sure if this is related or a separate issue, but it appears to prevent stormfront from connecting to the game server. Wizard runs fine, although I still have the password lnet issues.

can't you ask the former owner what the lnet password is?

on the windows error, the former owner was logging their sessions. To turn this off, go to where all the windows are listed and click on the little blue disk that is likely on the story window and either reset where the logs are saved, or turn it off completely. I think the first click will just turn it off.

I didn't acquire this character from the original owner, and the person I got it from doesn't know it either. I'll contact Tillmen about this directly.

But! That logging thing was totally it; I've never logged a session so I didn't know about that. So I've got that turned off and the error is gone. Thanks much for the help! I declare this thread a smashing success.
