I know its not a clever way of training a rogue . . but hey who cares.

All I want to know is , Is it worth trying to train in ambush with this weapon (naginata becouse when he is old enough I want to eblade it an have him an 8x flarer((just for fun))?
and any suggestions in making more affective in any way you guys think you would like to have it if he were yours.
thanks.

What's the stalking and hiding for? You can't ambush from hiding with polearms so unless you need it for another reason it's wasted ranks.

I would drop the stalking and hiding and perception (unless you like to spot hiders, or you need it for some other reason) and pick up 1x ambush. Then using the extra point go to 3x dodge. If you don't have enough points to 3x dodge, drop cman to 1.5x and get it. IMO 3x dodge is way more important than 2x CM. With 1.5x CM and 1x ambush you should be able to open ambush quite well. You could probably open ambush well enough with 2x CM and .5x ambush, but I think the skill is so cheap for a rogue might as well just get the 1x.

Why building a warrior with rogue's cost of tps?

Be smart, please

<<Oh and X, FIRST rogue you shit head.>>

I don't see the need to capitalize first as it's no more important than any other word in that sentence. Added on to this is the obvious fact that you suck at making a point, because I don't know wtf you're trying to say by clarifying that it is your FIRST rogue.

Okay, Rising to your bait.
'First' was typed in capitals becouse its a way of showing emphasis.
I dont see the point in sitting by and letting some dumb shit tell me to 'be smart'. I have never ever learned how to roll a rogue and this is my first time, completely for fun.
Your obviously some sort of PCboards police.
There is absolutely nothing I can type to show you how much of a nazi you are and although its over the top and maybe out of line to say that . .
So were you, Fuckin ASSHOLE.
(emphasis again)
Jeez, Fightings hard when you cant just beat the crap outa the other guy!

You can make almost anything viable in GS4.

I have difficulty with my two-handed empath PB, simply could not gen enough DS (though I'm relooking it again)

Thats cos your empath isnt a halfling, I'm afraid that makes him totally suck!

The thing is.. a 2 handed weapon weilding empath isn't supposed to be easy.. but it is doable. How old and what are you currently hunting? My guess is that you will need to hunt something easier for the level that casts magic instead of attacks physically.

He's 31. I stopped playing him really, when gs4 started.

Whew.. for a moment there I thought he was an elf.. to which I would probably have to kill him.

Oh yea.. sorry about killing Tayvin last night by ripping off his leg. I swear it was an accident.:smug:

Sorry about setting you on fire.

Sure, but if you're using pole arms you might as well be a warrior. The whole advantage to rogues is being able to ambush from hiding, picking the best, and stealing. That plan does exactly 0 of these things.

You leap from hiding to attack!
You thrust with a serrated-edge vultite blade harpoon at a lesser burrow orc!
AS: +156 vs DS: +54 with AvD: +28 + d100 roll: +57 = +187
... and hit for 58 points of damage!
Strike through both ears, foe is quite dead!
The lights in a lesser burrow orc's eyes dim and finally go out.

What Artha?

I can kill something 5 levels below me too. With that setup, it'd be better as a warrior.

You leap from hiding to attack!
You swing an ancient iron battle axe at a cyclops!
AS: +249 vs DS: +82 with AvD: +39 + d100 roll: +4 = +210
... and hit for 95 points of damage!
Horrible slash to the cyclops's head! Brain matter goes flying!
Looks like it never felt a thing.
The cyclops rolls over and dies.
Roundtime: 8 sec.

Er he has a tiny Attack Strength.
Im giving him up now anyhow, I seriously cant be bothered to figure out rogueness and make him trained enought to defend himself against the fucking idiots in Solhaven.
thanks
