His companion looks at him stupidly and says, "Where exactly did you get that thing again?" "Thing? I think not, this is truly a weapon of wonder. I was tracking game in Whistler's Pass when I came across a reclusive warrior and after speaking to him, and running a couple errands, he offered to forge me this wonderous weapon. Amazing!" He grunts and a tear forms in his eye.

An Erithian WeaponSmith has set up shop in Whistler's Pass. He may be inclined to work on Erithi weapons for you, but you need to do something for him first. Enjoy.

Naginatas from the backroom have a natural 4x would be interesting to see if the magic metal ones had a bonus equal to the metal + the natural 4x. I 'm just have to spend the money and see.

Anyway, just another thought I had, I bet using those katanas as a 1 handed or a two handed makes a big difference, maybe someone can post some shots?

There's really no reason to use a katana one-handed. It's basically a falchion that hits a little harder on scale, hit a little weaker on chain, can't be used with TWC, and is hindered by the use of a shield. Plus, it requires two weapon skills to work. To clarify the last statement, it requires OHE and THW.

Twohanded, it stacks up pretty favorably against the bastard sword.

If someone orders a vultite katana, it takes ~9 days for him to start taking orders again. I doubt there are still people camping, but I'd be willing to bet that that's what's making it look like he's been disabled more than anything else.
