Considering selling my Oldstyle 3x Claid.
Very few of these left in the game and maybe none at this enchant.
Inspects as a Two Handed Sword, +10 AVD over normal claids.
PM me with offers.
Last +18 new style claid went for 35m.

Is it glaes or mein?

Morning Bump. Metal doesn't really matter with this awesome weapon. It's a beast anyway it slices. It'll cut you meng

Oh yes, it's an amazing weapon, they all get lightened down, so the metal's moot. I was just asking because the description interests me. Considering a swap from lances to claidhs if I can get my hands on a 3x-4x one. Still thinkin about it.

I believe it's the best claid on the market for the price. Obviously, there are some that have banes and what not but unless it's an undeadbane, it's likely just extra crit weighting to specific mobs that seems unnecessary.
The versatility of this guy alone can save you a ton of CMan points. It requires Twohanded Sword for your weapon specialization so you can have a blessable or flaring two hander for those uncritable mobs and still get your AS bonus from wspec. Assuming you're a warrior or paladin of course.

Frankly, I wish I had had this when I added bane to mine. Much better AVD's and Better DF's as well.

There's still another run for RtCF. I shudder to think what it would be worth should it get a bane.

Honestly.. Unless you win the bane, and likely undead bane, yourself. The cost to buy the slot would likely be more then the item would be worth.

I think undead bane on a claid would be almost and end all/be all for any non-paladin. Makes it one of those items that doesn't move accept in extremely high priced trades.
That's why it's better to have it when you go!

Not that it really matters, but +18 is technically considered 4x.
Also, aren't old style claids greatsword based?

After a careful inspection you determine that a veniom-hilted serrated glaes claidhmore requires skill in twohanded weapons to use effectively. It appears to be a modified twohanded sword.
It was a comparison, not an identical product. To me, the face that it is old style makes it worth far more than the +3 extra AS.

AvD advantage has been mentioned a couple of times, but it is irrelevant. Old style claids are -10 to your AS, whereas new style claids don't penalize AS, but have AvDs that are 10 worse against all armors. New style vs old style of same metal there is no endroll difference.
BUT... old style IS way better due to the significant DF advantage against plate armor.

Yeah...Destroyers and anything else in plate /TWITCH. This sword's amazing.

I'm guessing a good part of the premium paid on the claidhmore in said example was for the eahnor bit.
ETA: 30 mil isn't out of the ball park for this claidhmore, just simple stating a fact.

In m opinion, old style is worth far more the eahnor, especially since the person that bought said Claid already PM'd to tell me he wished I put it up before he bought said Claid.
