Never had a character get near the level of my bard in Shattered and I don't know shit about mobs past about 25. My bard is 43 and currently in Landing. Been trying Shan in Solhaven but been dieing to getting nicked by a warrior and poisoned for something like 50 health per round or random events...it's not my favorite place to hunt. What's some good ideas to script-hunt at this level range and where is it?

Was thinking about trying Teras soon, but I don't have any idea how to get there if anyone wants to clue me in.

Thanks

I moved my bard to Teras at 42. The Basalt Hillock area with Red-Scaled Thraks, Cinder Wasps, and Massive Pyrothags is the only hunting ground I've touched and it's taken me up to 60. It's easy mode scripting. Pyrothags, in particular, are weak to sonic weapon flares - they'll often add their own susceptibility flare to your swing.

The Basalt Hillock is north of the "climb hill" at the north end of the Lava Flows area on the Eye of V'Tull map. Lava Flows has the same creatures but it also has Skayls which were a pain at 42 and it also has random environmental death flare thingies. Basalt Hillock has none of the bad and all of the good. Plus, go2 will get you there in about 3 seconds. Since 42 my average hunt time has been about 120 seconds. With the miniscule travel time, that's put me at a solid 2,000 xp/hr. It's been awesome.

I hunted Thraks and Wasps from 42-49, then Thraks and Pyrothags from 49-51, then Pyrothags only from 52-60. The bard's at 60 now and I could keep with the Pyrothags for another 2 levels or so, but I feel like a change.

The boat that transports to Teras doesn't run in Shattered, so you'll have to get there via the Chronomages.

Also, you'll find the same generous auto-spellups you have in the Landing. Mofuggah provides generous auto-rescues. Staypuff provides generous auto-healz, though I haven't seen him around in a few days. Lich room 12537 is Party Time Central.

Good place to start :)

I'd try Kiramon and Shadow Valley as well, maybe Banshees in Darkstone if you want to stay around the Landing.

River's Rest has a nice joint called Marsh Keep that'll keep you rich from 45 - 60. Mostly undead, but filthy stinking rich

Definitely willing to check this area out, but when I found the chronomages, Teras Isle was not one of the destinations offered. I asked about disabled locations too, and the clerk said that all travel was operational. Any idea what's up with that?

Edit: Nevermind, with a little work I realize now that Kharam Dzu is Teras Isle.

I've been up in Canada the last week. Left the guys running, but it looks like they got booted and I haven't been able to remote in to the computer to log back on until tonight. Flying back tomorrow, so any 'outages' shouldn't last too long.

I hate when I leave for even a long weekend and come back to find out that my guy got booted an hour after I left.

Trali in Ta'Illistim are a bard's playground. They're sword/board so you can pop them twice with 1002.
