So I'm sitting at the ledge, playing roshambo with a friend. So Lycain decides to interrupt everything, like anyone gives a shit he breathes. So, I tried to stun him but end up stunning Lycane instead of Lycain, go figure.

So, he pushes us both off the ledge, then runs like a bitch. I return, and this happens....

>'719 lyc
You say, "719 lyc."WHOOPS!
>snap
Lycain peers quizzically at you.
>
You snap your fingers.
>
Annexa holds her hand out towards Lycain, palm upward and holding her other hand which is balled into a fist, inviting Lycain to roshambo.
>
Lycane stands up.
>
A deafening screech pierces the air around you as Lycane struggles to remove his glossy mesille runestaff from his vruul skin thigh-sheath.
>
Lycain and Annexa pound their fists in their open palms three times...

Lycain makes the symbol for paper!
Annexa makes the symbol for rock!
...Lycain wins!
>snick
>
You snicker.
>
Lycain stands up.
>
Lycain darkly says, "Ahahaha."
>
Lycane sits down.
>

SEND[Kyalia] Mmm I wouldnt :)

[A Dark Crevice]
You are perched on the ledge of a dangerously steep crevice which juts out from the wall hanging over a dark abyss. The odd mists within it glow with an ethereal light as they lash about in their chaotic dance. From above, the sound of thundering hooves reverberate throughout the chasm, seemingly vanishing into the bottomless pit below. You also see the Annexa disk, an enruned wooden trunk, an enruned fel box and some large cracks in the ground.
Also here: Lord Lycain, Lord Lycane who is sitting, Annexa who is sitting, Great Lord Kriff who is sitting
Obvious exits: up

To accept, type "roshambo Annexa" followed by your choice of "rock", "paper", or "scissors".
>
Lycain gives Annexa a warning slap against the shoulder.
>
Lord Lycain's group just went up.
>report that was an accident, hehe

Annexa rolls her eyes.

You feel at full magical power again.
>
Annexa says, "Ok."

SEND[Kyalia] :) Okay

>report and why not? he pushed me off the ledge

What now? IS Kyalia on his nuts? That, to me, was none of her damn business.

He's obviously being watched by GMs.

Also, if you killed him once for pushing you, that's all that's needed according to the GMs. If you didn't, that GM is fucking stupid.

wtf? Thats stupid. If you have consent, or they started it, do it anyways.

I've killed after told not to. If you DO have GOOD reason to, (and it has to be VERY good to ignore a GM), then go ahead.

But that GM should know that he most likely deserved it.. I mean, look at who it is!

I didn't kill him at all. I tried to, but I forgot to push backspace...goddammit. And yes, that GM is fucking stupid. "I wouldn't do that :)." Oh yeah, someone should have told that to her mother before giving birth.

Shouldn't she be doing about 100 bad alters?

Does anyone actually play GS to have fun anymore? Or is it just about the conflicts?

Bah, Ignore me. I'm gone in 2 weeks anyway.

You're looking in the wrong place if you want to see people enjoying themselves in Gemstone.

The PC tends to collect the worst moments and puts them up for all to see.

Ah well, fortunately I haven't developed that habit yet. I keep my "worst moments" off the boards and stew over them elsewhere ;)

~Czeska, glad her accounts are cancelled soon.

You know you can stop playing any time

Yes, i know. The cancellation has been done, it's effective 9/12. I have a few friends left I want to spend time with, and so I'm keeping to myself til then. It's not GS in particular, it's the drama and BS that some people seem so drawn to that I am avoiding.

Then just avoid that part of it.
It's possible to rarely if ever have to deal with the dickheads that get bitched about here. Mostly, people that encounter them want to at some level or they would get away from them all.
Admittedly its pretty insular, but its a sure fire way of being as happy as you can be in a text based game.

So here's what I don't get. How did he interrupt everything? And casting an attack spell and getting pushed of the ledge seem to be about equal to me. And I haven't been to the ledge in awhile, but if you're sitting, can anyone knock you off?

I stay out of most conflicts, and avoid most assholes I think. Sorry to see another GSer (who to my knowledge isn't a turd) go Czeska. Hope you come back sometime.
