Tillmen, you mentioned in chat the other day about possibly upgrading lich to use the latest version of Ruby and that it would break things. I'm all for it, but I was wondering if there was any timeframe for this happening? I was thinking about picking up Ruby again and trying one more time to figure out scripting for the game (I get that bug every year or so.). Only, I don't really want to put all the effort into learning the whole list of current lich functions if they are all about to change, so I was curious about when you might be rolling that out, or if you have mapped out a list of new functions that would be in the new version?

Well, Ruby 1.8.7 is retired and 1.9/2.0 are both out. Lots of things can happen in two versions of a language (mostly backwards incompatible changes like deprecating methods).

For what it's worth I've been running lich on linux with ruby 2.0 for months now without issues.

So since this is RSN... is the lich scripting reference on Krakii complete/comprehensive? http://www.krakiipedia.org/wiki/Lich_scripting_reference
Or are there other functions that I should know about not listed there?
