Magical Creature Bane

I got the Magical creature bane service from Ledirth at RTCF today. When I asked him what defined a magical creature here is the list he provided.


Ledirth says, "Most elementals, glacei, stone sentinels, LOTS of golems, fire cats, dark vorteces, pyrothags, stone mastiffs, csetairi, vor'taz, caedera, fire sprites, skayls, cyclops, mezic, fenghai, water wyrds, krynches, dhu goleras, shricken, moulis, lich qyn'arj, storm griffins, lesser and greater constructs, greater krynches, water elementals, flesh golems, and enormous rift crawlers."

Ledirth says, "I'm probably missing one or two on that list."

Just thought I'd share.

So what did you put it on?

The only things missing from what he said before that were:

gargoyles (assuming lesser and stone) and he specifically said greater water elementals (where he just said water elementals there).

I think this is the first publicly acccesible list of magical creature types around, I searched earlier and no luck. I had initially discounted this list, glad we bugged him to list the creatures out and kept asking questions.

Its such a crazy list but it provides a great level spread from level 10 to cap. You'll probably find at least one of those minimum in every hunting area in the game. I put it on a +5 claidh and chose the disintegration flares. A lot of the critters on the list are crit immune so the flares will be nice, the ones not immune will also get the claidh weighting.

I added 12 points of weighting for the magical bane list to a 8x perfect spikestar with HCW and a T2 enscrollment.

Real impressive list actually. It moves it up quite a bit in desirability.

Agreed. I wouldn't have guessed rift crawlers. It's a longer list than I would have thought.

yeah that's pretty nice. For a non-goser i'd put that up to second next to UD bane.

I put this on a 7x perfect T5 ensorc dagger. Had a ton of fun in the wood sprite/bendith area. Planning on coming to Teras to try this out on pyrothags once the ranger turns 51. If this is available at EG I'd like to get more.
