I'll try to keep this updated. Times are EST

================
And we're done. Probably none coming during the week. If they do I may or may not update this depending on whether I'm around or not.

You're doing good Zaigh. Much appreciated

Thanks. I typically keep a running list like this for myself. Figured I'd try to help everyone out this time around. May do the same for EG, though I have to work most of that timeframe so it wouldn't be as up to date as often.

What does 80 charges mean? Is that a length of time? I'm woefully ignorant on the subject of enhancements.

It's how many charges the enhancive has before you will need to recharge it at the Adventure Guild.

Dude, you're awesome. Keep it up. Do we have a reference point of the raffles from the first run? I wanted to try and project when the raffles would be during the third run.

It's varied a lot from the first run already. They've even combined several into one (like the Bergraham & runestaff flares), which is kind of annoying.

If 2 blinks are being raffled, what will the 3rd distribution method be?

These splitter things are pretty worthless overall right? Or do they have some sort of decent value?

Zaigh

If you already have a locked splitter you can get it unlocked. Or if you get 2 slots you can have an unlocked splitter

Difference between locked and unlocked are the enchants? Half full enchant when split VS full enchant when split?

Correct

So stupid that they aren't offering unlocked splitters. You can add up to 30 points of weighting, but god forbid they release unlocked splitting weapons.

Anyone have a clue what the surcharge is on these things?

There's that one splitter handaxe at least that's pretty worth...ful. It was 7x, unlocked, HCW, and if I saw it right he grabbed a weighting spot on run 1? Not sure about anything else though, but 2 MCW 7x handaxes sounds pretty tits. For the price of one.

How does this work anyway? Does splitting a weapon pretty much dupe it? Or are there some sort of restrictions with that?

It dupes the weapon essentially. I did it on a medium enchant over 40 point weighted with bane weapon for 550k.

What base and enchant is that weapon Buck?

And yeah Methais, you just turn it (or some verb) and you get one in each hand. If its locked you'll have 1 4x and 1 2x, if its unlocked you'll have 2 4x ones. AFAIK only the enchant is halved on the locked ones, not the other properties.

Sorry not at liberty to say. The generic stats of the item still lets it stay a mystery. If the owner wants that known I will let them comment. My post was just to show the price for services.

What happens if you split it and then locker one as a backup (assuming you're OHE and not TWC), or give/sell it to another character? I'm guessing there's some mechanic to prevent exploiting it by duping a weapon for profit or whatever, but the Simu so yeah. Just curious is all.

I've heard GMs say that there are some mechanics in place to prevent such situations. I just don't know what they are. Could be something as simple as not being able to swing one of them without having the other in the other hand.

Nothing happens because you're not duping.

>>Hey Em we just had a pretty compelling conversation about your splitter script in Plat Chat. Is there anything that stops me from getting splitting added to some really nice one handed weapon, splitting said weapon in two and then selling one half or both for that matter? Using each half on seperate characters? Essentially what stops someone from using this service to just duplicate a weapon?

That's definitely not a problem. If you didn't split it, then trying to use it just won't let you. If you die because of that... well, that's your penalty for cheating. ;) Oh, and not to mention... we'll know you're using something that doesn't belong to you... hehe.

Em just posted that a split weapon won't work for a character who didn't do the splitting.

Please regale us with evidence to the contrary.

Just noticed this, and I don't see the issue.

Nilandia suggested that (possibly) you could only swing one if you had the other in hand. Which isn't the case. You can swing one half with a different weapon just fine.

Methais questioned if you could dump one of the split weapons into a locker and get in trouble because you'd be duping what amounts to a backup weapon. Which also isn't an issue because you own both. There's nothing to dupe.
