I'm a single father who, a week ago, had the unfortunate luck of an uninsured driver crossing a four lane highway and hitting my truck head-on at 60 mph. My liability coverage doesn't buy me another vehicle to get to work. If I don't work, obviously, we do not have a place to live, or food to eat. So yes, I'm using every bit of means at my disposal to fix the situation.

Sure, the system may be flawed. The tickets are limited. Would you rather a WD type event where you sat in rooms of 400 people, praying to be spun? Simutronics obviously has a product we all love and enjoy. It's obviously not perfect, and never will be, but if it weren't pretty close every single one of you that's constantly raising hell would just leave.

I don't begrudge people on how they make their money nor what they use it for, so good on you for making yourself money. It doesn't make you a bad person, and you don't need to explain yourself.

It is things like this though that slowly eat away at the player base of this game though. People who play this game for the relationships slowly fade away and all that is left are the sharks. It's actually the natural progression of most collectable hobby activities (baseball cards, comics, action figures, etc), but if you needed an explanation of why your getting thumped at bit here, that's it.
