I'm aware how PPs work, just not the selling process. Do you hold the points or are they transferrable? What about leftover points?

I don't think you can transfer the points. You would tell me what service you wanted and give me the item. I would then write a scroll to Sadie (lighten, deepen, whatever) and then I would return the improved / altered item once it was completed.

ahh so premium points are not transferable? well hmmm. could i just use the 2000 points to have you give me 4 saddie scrolls then, if i win the bid? saddie scrolls are for lightening deepening and alterations right?

I'm not 100% certain (someone please correct me if I am wrong) but I believe I have to be holding the item to be altered when I pick up the alter scroll on FWI. Given this info, I will understand if you want to retract your bid.

Sadie scrolls are also non-transferable. You have to trust the person with the points to get your work done for you and return your item in exchange for the payment.

That is what I thought Slit-eye. Thank you for confirming. So as I stated above, I understand if you want to retract your bid. That said, I've done plenty of sales over the years and you won't find anyone who will claim I've been anything but professional. No pressure either way.

Any idea how the lighten works on weapons ? I've got a 6LB old katana I'd like to lighten to 3LB (i think that is max light)

I'm not sure how much it would lighten with each service. I think I would find that out when I have the item and the alter scroll and I communicate with Sadie.
