I pay for 50mb service and speedtest.net says I'm getting 51mb, but when I'm downloading on Steam I'm only getting 6-7mb's. How do I boost this to match the top capability?

Also, my max bandwidth in Steam is set at no limit.

You can only download from Steam as fast as they upload to you.

I would assume its steam throttling their servers and capping how fast people can download their stuff.

It's not the fact that having some speed that your ISP gives you will allow you to have the same speed on different Internet sources.
