Well, after fighting with my computer for 2 days, I finally found out whats wrong.

one of my three hard drives has been fubar'ed. No idea how, or why. But its completely toast.

So, I got dropped from 106 GB of hard drive space..to 6 GB of hard drive space. Yay me..

So, warning to all you that watch for me to send out new anime. It ain't happening. Those I play Diablo II with, Ain't happening. I can't do much beyond GS and KoL untill I manage to save up enough extra cash for a new HD. Sorry. :(

Bummer that. Those must be some seriously oldschool HD's if two add up to 6 GB, though.

Ouch. Today for some reason I have been getting that low virtual memory warning. I got some good advice on doing a computer check, and cross my fingers...no more error messaging.

In as much in the fashion as windows refused to even delete the partition and rebuild it. Nor would it format the drive. And every time I booted up my computer with the drive hooked up, it would load windows (from the other drive..) and then promptly cause it to crash.

Wait you have 1 HD thats 100 gig and 2 that are 3 gigs ...?

Yes, this computer is home built. I got it that way. It was actually a pretty good deal. two 3gb hard drives, one 100gb hard drive, 1 GHz AMD, 512 MB of ram (that I've since upgraded), GeForce 2 Video card. Got it all for $75 :shrug: It's served me well..up untill the hard drive died.

HAD 1 HD that was 100gb. Its dead now.

And yes, I had two drives that were 3gb each. I used them for MP3 storage (on one) and my HTML/Web design stuff on the other.

SD ram is the way to go if you havn't gotten it yet. So if you don't, fuck getting another 100 gb hard drive. Downsize the drive, upsize the ram. Get a new video card while you are at it. I'm on a geforce 3 and it's blowing balls.
