Ok, kids, we had a decent first round of Settlers (http://www.catan.com/) at AFK Tavern and it was cool and all, but it's NOT OKAY to let Nathan & Ryku carry the champion titles forever, so....

Next game: My house - Monroe, WA (couch squatters welcome with background checks)
When? PFS. Weekday nights are better, yes Kaig/Ilona? Which ones.
BYOB & Potluckish? I am not your maid or your chef, just your hostess.

ROFL - Kaig and Ilona, you guys are adorable.

Tuesdays are great for me. Wednesdays are doable with some finagling and/or the possibility that random children might milling about my house, doing their best to bug the crap out of us. Fortunately, they've had all their shots.

Keep in mind that Settlers can take at minimum an hour per game (ESPECH if there are newbs and/or people like Nathan & Ryku who strategize SO CAREFULLY on their round that you forget you're even playing anymore, because you know, it's MASTER WORLD DOMINATION and stuff). We probably want to start early-ish if we want to get in a game or two before people start going, 'yawn, oh long drive, work tomorrow.'

Ok, so we need 4-6 players RSVP for the expansion pack version - who is in for this Wednesday 7/10 @ 6 pm?

Principessa swears she is in this time. That makes us 7 so we'll have to team up, unless someone brings another board. I am instigating a house rule right now that Nathan and Ryku have to be split up and partner with others. They cannot be allowed to continue to plot world domination together.

Well I hate to be a giant wiener but my wife told me last night that she is going to have to work late today and wont be home until around 8ish. Thanks for having us, Leifa, even if you DID bail (but I can totally understand why, and forgive you because plunder spoils are fun).
