You are all cordially invited to the House of Paupers for Ales & Tales on Saturday, 6/29, starting at 9:30pm at Paupers' home in the Landing!

Participants will be able to choose one drink from a carefully selected collection, and will then have 10 minutes to create a short (no longer than 5 minutes) story that features their selection. Prizes will be awarded for the funniest story, saddest story, the story that best highlights the drink of choice, and more!

The House of Paupers is located up the cobblestone walkway in Wehnimer's Landing Town Square Southwest... You know... in case you've been living under a rock.

Why go to a frumpy, dressy, stuck up, uppity gathering all the way on the other side of the Dragonspine. Think about climbing those mountains in your suit or heels... what sounds terrible. Why not hang out at House Paupers, drink, be creative, and win some shineys.

The choices are yours:
Be snooty and walk be forced to climb up and down mountains in high heels and suits.
Or be awesome and chill out at House Paupers and down some booze.

The choices are yours and yours alone.

I know I tossed out a couple Nominations at the Darts Game... and I know that at least 1 GM was present towards the end of the night. All I can promise is liberal nominations throughout the night for those that deserve it, what the GMs do with it, I have no idea.

That'll pretty much be my motto for any non-hunting Paupers gathering.

Wait a minute...wouldn't liberal nominations mean nominations for everyone instead of just those that deserve it, so that those who don't deserve it don't get their feelings hurt?

Whirlin has not yet learned the fine art of Automatic West Coast Time Conversion. (Besides, the thread title does mention EST.. though we're technically in EDT.)

So yes, the time is Saturday, 6/29, 9:30pm ET/6:30pm PT.

Everyone come. Tell a story. Get drunk. Or.. get drunk and then tell a story. We're Paupers, we flow like that.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Tisket! I'm bummed there weren't more people there, we should have had a lot more drunken stories. Hopefully next time..
