Yup, just like the title says. The real version of my avatar was stolen from a Norwegian museum that had pathetic security. No bells, alarms, lazers..just wire attaching the painting to the wall.

In broad daylight no less.. with video of them loading the painting into their vehicle.

There was an alarm, which went off when they ripped it from the wall. It's an art museum, you could go to many art museums with guns and take what you want.

Thanks for directing me Wezas. Shows how much I pay attention to the threads, lolz. But yeah, they stole 2 paintings worth 100 mil? Something like that, I was still waking up and drinking the caffine.

I have to wonder what the point is of stealing a painting like that. I mean, they probably want to sell it, but if I bought a painting that famous I'd want to show people. "Look what I've got." And people would be like, "wasn't that stolen?" ....I don't get it.

I hope they catch them because I honestly don't see how something like this could go on the black market and not be noticed.

They probably have a buyer already set up.

Or were hired by someone who wanted it in their living room.

I had a blow up "scream" doll in my apartment in college. It sat in the corner scaring my friends.
