The last 4 I have picked up won't sell at the gemshop or the pawnshop, anyone else experiencing this?

You and all the other people that have been selling their trinkets for millions.

I'm surprised they nerfed it that hard. If that is the case that you can no longer sell them, they need to definitely improve the quality and selection that comes out of the system.

So they severely impact the value of fixstats and fixskills via Simucoins and now they don't allow people to basically sell their bounty points for silvers?

I really wish Simu would just come out and tell us what they want us to spend our bounty points on, it would make things a whole lot easier.

Just sell them as recharging services and undercut their once a year 10k per point price or whatever.

These mechanics changes are among the most aggressive macro economic silver changes that I've seen in a while. Paired with RtCF's massive silver drain, and now plugging up a couple holes in the spigot, they're definitely making the silver pool smaller.

Recharging is what is left. I believe it's 16 silvers per point typically. In light of Simucoins and this, and since recharging is only one week or two per year, you can probably get about 25 silvers per point 10 months out of the year.

They want us to spend it on recharging epic enhancives, obviously.

I've purchased 100 Tier-10 boxes from the adv guild recently, 50 in RR and 50 on Teras, and i'll be posting my findings shortly.

For their next mechanics upgrade they will re-balance all critters based on CRB's level of enhanciveness and reduce the number of permanent releases.

Has this been announced anywhere in an official capacity?

Posted on the officials asking for clarification. That'd be pretty shitty of them to nerf something without announcing it at all. I hope this is a bug or just wrong.

Where were the magic items, and how much were they selling for before this apparent nerf?

I've always been in the process of saving up BPs for other shit, so I never paid much attention to most of the things on the menu.

I think if sold with a character without trading, I saw them sell in the range of 5k or so, all the way up to 22k per item. If there character has training or racial bonuses it could be more.

Though it is pretty crappy to nerf it without warning or even a reply. There's another post on the officials also being ignored.

Fuck, if it's unbalanced then nerf it, just say you're nerfing it before you do so, or at least right afterwards.

No arguments here Evarin. Plus I do not see it as being unbalanced to begin with. People could still sell fixstat and fixskills, this is the same thing just on a smaller scale. You would think this would be preferred because it gave a use for bounty points without forcing OOC potion sales just to be able spend the BPs once you have already fixed you're character.

I honestly can't make an assessment as to its balance. I just intensely dislike stealth nerfs.

What was the BP cost of them?

You'd think Simu would encourage people to do this so that people would be more likely to buy fixskill/fixstat potions from the store, having no BPs of their own left to buy with. Yeah they could still buy them with silvers, but that would probably end up breaking even, and they'd likely spend the coins on something else anyway.

Simunomics...
/facepalm

The BP cost of the item is 1k, the value can differ greatly. If you are selling them with a person with race/trading bonuses it would sell for more of course. I think the most I ever saw one for when I sold with a character who has maxed trading was 40k here and there, though the average value was in the 13k per item range what what I saw.

I did a small test on 15k BP's and got an average of almost 16 silver per BP.. wish I had dumped all of them now.
