The other thread got sort of bogged down with other stuff, so I made this new one.

Basically if anyone is interested I'm selling ISK for $USD. 600 million ISK per $15 USD.

I have 6 billion left, so $150 for the whole block.

I'll also take silvers trade, at 500m ISK per 1m silver.

Also, I think in another thread someone mentioned that if you pay a certain amount of ISK in the first 30 days, you never have to pay to play again, is that true?

Not exactly. You can buy PLEX with in game ISK, which is like game time codes. As long as you make enough money in-game in a month to pay for your next month's PLEX, you can play for free.

I just realized there's really no incentive to buy isk in this fashion, since it would be easier and safer to just get PLEX and sell it IG, since the conversion rate is the same. So I'll bump it up a bit. 600m per 15 bucks.

So now, instead of paying for your subscription next month, buy 600m from me and get your month's sub PLUS a free 70m isk.

Kinda curious about that myself. I have a character mostly for station trading, which turns out to be a helluva lot better than mining... I make between 800m and like 1.3b a week, which is more than enough to keep both my other combat characters in ships, fit with more expensive things than I even need to be using.

I mean... more money is always better of course, but other than that.

By station trading do you mean running goods from one station to another in a different system?

Just setting up buy and sell orders in a single station. I tried moving goods for a while, but decided it wasn't worth the effort. Once I got a decent amount of orders, I could keep up enough buy orders to never run out of things to sell.

This is true in some cases but in some fleet actions as long as you can target and group your weapons more skill is better. I wouldn't buy a character just yet though Orbstar, at least get like 6 months under your belt then think about it.

I know you have another character now so I don't see your nub one online really. Anyway, it's pretty simple...

Basically just open up the market tab, flip through items until you find one that has a good difference between the highest buy order and the lowest sell order (I generally look for something with 250k margin or more). Set up your own buy order at .01 isk above everyone elses. Once you get some things, sell them .01 below everyone else. Update prices once or more per day.

That's basically all I do for isk now anyway, maybe 30 min of marketing a day nets me about 1b profit a week. You want to find a spot that isn't super busy like Jita (or you'll be updating orders every 5 minutes in order to try to keep on top of everyone) and a place that's not super slow, so you can actually get some traffic.
