If I were to buy this item and then orb it for the dexterity, what would the end result be with the numbers? I don't remember what happens with the stats when you orb something.

Ah ok. I was thinking something like half of the other bonuses get applied to the stat you're orbing for something.

I just bought a 2 slot fusion staff and threw a +8 spell aim orb in it, so I'm looking for dex/dex bonus orbs now.

You can likely find cheaper things to orb in playershops, I tend to use the one on lichproject.org, but there is also one at virilneus.com. I just put in dexterity bonus charges, you likely don't need the last part I just got used to typing it when looking for weapon skill bonuses, helps narrow down the field.
