Don't you need to be a wizard to use this? And if you do.. why not just summon up your own if you're wanting to borrow any one?

Great question. I'm glad you asked.

I once used a wyrdling ring and the wyrdling last for a year. If I use a rune to summon a wyrdling do they infinitely last, or are they on a timer like most familiars?
