Greetings folks,

When I broke out the mothballs (Spring of 2011?) silvers were down to $5-7 per million, they have doubled since then.

What do you see as the major reason for the increase?

What they said. This is a once in a decade+ chance to upgrade your existing gear into something truly insane, but you have to pay out the nose to do it. Couple that with needing to buy people's slots, pay for raffles and minor services, and normal silver spike for a festival and you have your price increase.

The second they announced the new spirit bows, the price of silvers started going up.

Turns out a lot of people were just stocking crazy amounts of silvers to upgrade their gear and buy slots. The spirit bow went for a lot less than a lot of us originally thought it'd go for.

Whirlin's bow is beyond me. I hope to someday have the discipline and the power to wield such a tool of destruction. Alas, I must keep working to achieve my goals. Le sigh.

The bow technically went for about the cash price I was thinking it would back at $8 per. I figured a little inflation would happen but overall with three more coming I figured 3500-4k for the bow which is about what it sold for.

The price in coins went up so much because I think four or five people decided they all needed a billion silvers right now for the first run. I don't care what anyone says, 5 billion silvers is pretty hard to come by without raising the price.
