Why'd this kill me?

This caused a level two chest wound then I just died. This is prob a newb question I'm just curious why

... 25 points of damage!
A raw, red hole is drilled in your chest by a powerful bolt!

then I died, no other messaging.

I mean I guess chest holes are hard to live with...but I thought a crit kill would be a level 3 wound?

Did you already have a rank 2 wound? Receiving a rank 2 chest wound when you already have a rank 2 chest wound kills you, right? I dunno, I might just be making this up.

Other obvious answer, you sure you didn't run out of health?

ah there it is...and this is a note on that:

"There is one odd critical, the Rank 5 CHEST**, which is always fatal when caused by a CS based attack but will only leave a level 2 injury (deep lacerations) to the body. When the Rank 5 CHEST critical results from an AS based attack the result is non-fatal with a level 2 injury and 5 round stun."

I crit kill things all the time with 25 points of damage from my bow, which has vibration flares. Especially on the neck.
