I have a question regarding the exact consequences of having something other than an arrow in your right hand when holding a bow. I train in ranged weapons but do not fire them, I train only for the defense it provides. With that in mind, I was wondering if I could slap a small fusion weapon in my off hand while hunting to benefit from a second set of orbs. I have a 3 slot fusion bow so a total of 5 orbs from my weapons sounds pretty awesome. I tried it out with one of the 4x fusion brawling weapons sold at RtCF and my DS in guarded dropped maybe 40 points? Does anyone know of any maneuver issues with doing this, evasion/dodge/parry complications? Could some of that DS be recovered by learning 20 or so brawling ranks or OHE/w a dagger? Thanks for the help!
