She's a pure physical build to maximize redux. No magical skills whatsoever, especially because TPs are tight. I will pick some up later though.

Probably too soon to get anything decent in your adventurer's guild badge, but that may be one option.

You'll need some magical skills for the spell burst areas (not a lot, but some). AS is good, but you'll probably want some MIU as well.

Yeah, I know! I will have to adjust her training, but I can avoid spellburst for now. She's in MBP, 2x THW, 2x dodge, 2x cman, 2x PF, 2x perception, 2x S&H, 2x ambush, and .5x swim/climb. That eats up about every TP I've got.

Yeah, I know! I will have to adjust her training, but I can avoid spellburst for now. She's in MBP, 2x THW, 2x dodge, 2x cman, 2x PF, 2x perception, 2x S&H, 2x ambush, and .5x swim/climb. That eats up about every TP I've got.

Once you reach 20 ranks in climbing and swimming, ask yourself why you want more. IMHO, climbing above 20 ranks isn't essential unless you hunt the mino maze area near the Landing (that climb is a lot tougher than any others I know of). As for swimming...well if you are going to hunt the Temple in Teras, yeah you need a lot more (50 min, and some folks say 70 is better). I think the swim check just before the OTF area might require a bit more swimming skill...perhaps 30 ranks (anyone have an opinion?). But if you're not hunting those areas, I believe 20 ranks in each skill should be fine.

Why 2x perception? Seems like you could migrate that down some for some points.

Perception is on par with Physical Fitness for maneuver defense. And it's STUPIDLY cheap for a rogue to train in for the benefit.

Well, look. Even if I can migrate perception, swim, climb, and whatever else down ... I don't have a fixskills left. So it is going to take a long time for those TPs to migrate. Conversely, enhancives would solve this problem immediately (if they exist, which they may not). I appreciate the input, truly, but advising me on training strategies when I've already said I don't have a fixskill isn't going to solve this particular problem.

Miss Constrew - Just offering a not so long term solution. And since it is stupidly cheap then it wouldn't take all that long to migrate if you stayed logged in for a few nights at a table or something.

Whirlin - Not sure what being on par with PF has to do with anything. Been a very long time since I played a pre cap rogue but I would think 1x perception would be more than enough to deal with the handful of maneuvers that it factors in.

Just a thought.

I may try this and see if making it 1.5x perception will free up enough TPs to get the 20 ranks of SA. Thank you.

20 ranks of AS is gonna cost 140 TP... that's 70 ranks of perception at the cost of the second training.

I'm not sure why people are advising you to train differently. Your training is fine, and the goal was to find Enhancives for Arcane Symbols ranks, not for feedback on your training. As you level, and get more TP, you can train in more magic stuff... for now... enhancives if you really want to hunt there.

I would really prefer to find the enhancives, yes. That was and remains the ultimate goal of the thread.
