Easily the highlight of E3 for me so far. That's right, even more so than Star Wars: Battlefront.

Almost makes me want to replay TW2 again, right now.

Charles Dance (Lord Tywin) is doing some voice acting in this game.

Looking forward to it. I still haven't beaten the first (2/3 complete) or the second (about 1/4 complete). I am a terrible person.

Any reason why you never finished? Apparently this one is 30 times bigger than the second and the game world is even bigger than Skyrim.

The first one was pretty buggy, and the combat was kinda bad. Plus the whole half-translated Polish thing. After losing progress a few times I put it down, but I don't really feel a need to force myself through it. I still enjoyed it for what it was though. The second one was better in every aspect, but I can't really think of a reason I never finished. :/

Because you're an underachiever. Look at your signature. You go months without paying your guild dues! Shape up, slacker!

This does look really good...another awesome clip:

I didn't play 1, but I played 2 quite a bit...I never beat it though, because towards the end there's an optional boss fight I actually couldn't beat, and it really pissed me off...I think if I'd went back to it later I would have eventually, but I got distracted by some other things and just never went back to it.

I never beat 1 or 2 either. I got far in part 1 I think but eh, not sure why I didn't finish. I've had a problem for a few years now where I get bored with a game part way through and just stop playing.
Part 2 I bought because it was on sale but haven't gotten around to even installing it yet.
Soon.
Soon.

I don't recall any optional boss fights but in general they were all pretty difficult. The one against Letho in the elven garden took me a gazillion tries.

Their development quality is improving like crazy. I can't wait to see what their next game, Cyberpunk 2077, looks like.

It was in the last quarter of the game, I'd say...I had played about 30 hours at this point...man, trying to remember now. Going through some old city or something, you could go underground and fight this dude that would throw a bunch of fireballs at you all the time and he dropped some kind of staff or weapon of some sort I really wanted. But you didn't have to go through him to complete the game, you could bypass the little area he was in completely. I wanted the weapon he dropped though.

Lol...tell me about it. I load up on games during their various holiday sales, and rarely get around to playing them all. That reminds me, their big summer sale should be coming up soon.

The main problem with it was not being on Steam. Competition to Steam is fine... Origin just sucks.

Mine is on Steam. I got it before they split from Steam though.

Pretty sure that is the other witcher Letho. Pain in the ass for sure but I don't remember the fight being optional. I lost track of how many attempts it took me.

Can you sell games in your steam/origin library?

In the US? No. In Europe? Yes.

I got Witcher 1 and 2 from GOG for like 6 bucks total and I'm in the process of playing 1, haven't moved into 2 yet.

GOG is actually a decent system (as opposed to Origin or Uplay). I hope they're successful.

Yech... I couldn't stand the factions. One was comprised almost entirely of demons, and other was made up of Nazis (Tranquil Solution hurr hurr). Then the final boss was a Nazi demon. I just wanted to go back to Ferelden.

Ditto. They're owned by CD Projekt Red too, which is probably why they rock.
